Vamsiram Builders, a real estate developer, has acquired a 5.09-acre plot in Raidurgam, Hyderabad, for approximately Rs 1,040 crore. The plot, located adjacent to ITC Kohinoor, was purchased through an e-auction conducted by the Telangana Government Infrastructure & Investment Corporation (TGIIC). The company plans to develop a large-scale luxury commercial tower, conceived in a signature 'U'-shape, designed to complement the natural contours of the land. The project will feature a landscaped garden at its centre and will rise to 30 floors, reaching a height of 145 metres. The tower will encompass a total built-up area of 20 lakh square feet, housing a carefully curated mix of premium IT office space, retail zones, and a hotel. B. Subba Reddy, CMD, Vamsiram Builders, said: 'Raidurgam is not just a premium address – it is the nerve centre of Hyderabad's new economy. We are building a project that is worthy of that location and of the city's global ambitions – a landmark that will set new benchmarks for commercial design and functionality in India.' According to the company, construction is targeted for completion within four years. The project's scale and ambition are well-timed, as large-format deals have dominated Hyderabad's leasing activity in early 2026, with multinational corporations continuing to commit to larger office footprints, reflecting sustained confidence in the city as a long-term business destination. The realty firm further added that a 20 lakh sq. ft. integrated development of this nature – combining IT space, retail, and hospitality under one roof – is expected to attract significant interest from global occupiers, institutional investors, and hospitality operators alike.
